Villa Onemaru (‘Soothing Sands’ Villa) is a one-of-a-kind private pool villa complex unique to the South Pacific.

Originally used as the home of The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Spa’s General Manager over the years (and prosaically referred to at the time as ‘the GM’s house’), Villa Onemaru has been completely refurbished and extended to include a range of features and facilities undreamt of during its long history as the residence of the iconic Rarotongan Hotel’s GM.
Located on the corner of Onemaru Road and the Circle Island Drive less than 400 metres from Rarotonga’s best beachfront resort, The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Spa, Villa Onemaru today takes its name from Onemaru Road, meaning ‘Soothing Sands’, a reference to the gentle white sands of Aroa Beach, situated directly across the Circle Island Drive from Villa Onemaru.
