The heart of Villa Onemaru is the stunning 11m long x 5m wide Freshwater Swimming Pool, with a graduated depth down to 1.6m. This is definitely no ‘plunge pool’, this is a serious swimming pool allowing for a broad range of recreational enjoyment for your entire group, whether it be an all-adult group, or a group of parents with children of varying ages (there’s a shallow end for the enjoyment of younger children).
At the far end of the pool sits a stylish thatched Pavilion, almost seeming to float atop the sparkling blue waters. Providing cool shade by day, this is the ideal location to relax on the daybed right beside the pool, perhaps with a good read as company. As dusk approaches, the Pavilion can be transformed into an ideal setting for a Private Cocktail Party. Incredibly flexible, the Pavilion can also serve as the perfect location for a casual family BBQ, for a Private Dinner Party, or for a small conference or breakout meeting. And it can also serve as a gorgeous private poolside location for a stunning Wedding Ceremony! It seems the Pavilion’s uses are only limited by your own imagination . . .
The spacious poolside deck provides the ideal setting for soaking up Rarotonga’s famous rays on one of the sunloungers, or enjoying a game of table tennis, life-size chess or draughts. The mobile BBQ kitchen and alfresco furniture means it’s easy to enjoy a casual group BBQ lunch or dinner, and the ‘rock’ speakers make it possible to create your ideal island ambience outdoors.
